OLSC Mumbai - Code of Conduct

01 Respect & Inclusivity

Treat fellow supporters, guests, venue employees and OLSC Mumbai representatives with respect.
Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, age, background or level of football knowledge.
Discrimination, harassment, bullying, threatening behaviour or deliberately offensive language will not be tolerated.
Physical violence, theft, vandalism or deliberate damage to the property of another supporter or the venue may result in immediate removal and further disciplinary action.
Help make newcomers feel welcome. Nobody needs to prove how big a Liverpool supporter they are to belong here.

03 Respect for Other Supporters

Football creates strong opinions. We don't expect everyone to agree.

Different views about players, managers, tactics, ownership and the club are welcome.
Debate the opinion, don't attack the person.
Respect supporters of opposing clubs who may be present at the venue.
Avoid deliberately provoking, intimidating or confronting opposition supporters.
Remember that children, families, first-time attendees and supporters of different backgrounds may be attending our events.

Being passionate about Liverpool should never be an excuse for disrespectful behaviour.

05 Respect Our Venue & Its Staff

Our venue partners make our screenings possible and should be treated as part of our community.

Treat all venue employees respectfully.
Follow reasonable instructions from venue staff and OLSC Mumbai representatives.
Keep service areas, entrances, exits and staff working spaces clear.
Pay your food and beverage bills completely and promptly.
Do not damage furniture, screens, equipment, glasses or any other venue property.
Follow the venue's policies relating to food, beverages, smoking, capacity and safety.

The actions of one supporter can affect OLSC Mumbai's relationship with a venue and therefore the experience of the entire community.

07 Sportsmanship

We represent Liverpool FC and OLSC Mumbai whenever we gather as a community.
Win with grace. Lose with dignity.

Celebrate Liverpool without intimidating supporters of another club.
Keep rivalry and banter good-natured.
Do not encourage violence, hatred or hostility towards another fanbase.
Avoid behaviour at events or on OLSC Mumbai platforms that could seriously damage the reputation of the supporters club.
Remember that the values we demonstrate as supporters matter as much after the final whistle as they do during the match.

Support Liverpool. Don't hate others.

09 Conflict Resolution

If a disagreement occurs:

Try to resolve it calmly and respectfully.
Do not escalate verbal disagreements into confrontation.
If necessary, approach an OLSC Mumbai committee member or venue representative for assistance.
Respect any immediate decision made to protect the safety of attendees or restore order at an event.
Serious complaints can be raised privately with the OLSC Mumbai Committee for review.

Our objective is not to police football opinions. It is to protect the community.

02 Passionate Support

We are here to support Liverpool Football Club, so bring the noise.

Sing, chant, celebrate and support the Reds passionately.
Keep chants and songs consistent with the values of Liverpool FC and OLSC Mumbai.
Football debate, disagreement and banter are part of being a supporter, but personal abuse is not.
Avoid abusive, discriminatory or threatening behaviour towards players, managers, officials, opposition supporters or fellow Liverpool fans.
Passion should add to the atmosphere, not make somebody else feel unsafe or unwelcome.

04 Responsible Drinking

Where alcohol is available at an OLSC Mumbai event:

Drink responsibly and comply with applicable laws and venue policies.
Excessive intoxication will not excuse inappropriate behaviour.
Anyone behaving aggressively, abusively or creating a safety issue may be asked to leave regardless of whether alcohol contributed to the behaviour.
Never pressure another person to drink.
Do not drink and drive.

Enjoy the match. Know your limits.

06 Safety During Screenings & Events

Everyone attending an OLSC Mumbai event has a responsibility to help keep it safe.

Do not:

Engage in physical fights or threatening behaviour.
Throw glasses, bottles, food or other objects.
Block emergency exits or restricted areas.
Climb onto furniture or equipment where it creates a safety risk.
Bring prohibited or dangerous items into an event.
Behave in a way that creates a reasonable risk of injury to yourself or others.

If an OLSC Mumbai representative or venue employee asks you to stop an unsafe activity, please cooperate immediately.

08 Digital & Community Conduct

The same standards apply to OLSC Mumbai's official WhatsApp groups, social channels and other community platforms.

Debate football freely, but don't personally abuse other members.
Do not harass, threaten or repeatedly target another member.
Do not post discriminatory, hateful, sexually inappropriate or deliberately inflammatory content.
Do not share another member's personal information, photographs or private conversations maliciously or without appropriate permission.
Avoid spam, scams and unsolicited commercial promotion.
Follow any platform-specific community guidelines communicated by OLSC Mumbai admins.

Disagreement is welcome. Toxicity isn't.

Official Liverpool FC Supporters Club - Mumbai

OLSC Mumbai exists to bring Liverpool FC supporters together and create a passionate, welcoming and inclusive community in Mumbai.

Whether you are a long-standing member, attending your first screening, or joining us as a guest, everyone should be able to enjoy supporting Liverpool FC in a safe and respectful environment.

This Code of Conduct applies to all members and guests attending OLSC Mumbai screenings, gatherings, events and other official activities, as well as conduct on official OLSC Mumbai digital and community platforms.

Above everything else, we expect our community to live by the spirit of You'll Never Walk Alone.

Consequences for Misconduct

OLSC Mumbai reserves the right to take action where behaviour breaches this Code of Conduct.
The appropriate action will depend on the seriousness, circumstances and frequency of the behaviour.
For minor or first-time violations, OLSC Mumbai may:
- Give a verbal or written warning.
- Ask the individual to stop the behaviour.
- Ask the individual to leave a particular screening or event.
- Temporarily restrict access to OLSC Mumbai events or community platforms.
- Suspend membership for a specified period.
Serious misconduct or repeated violations may result in:
- Immediate removal from an event.
- Removal from official OLSC Mumbai community groups or platforms.
- Suspension or cancellation of OLSC Mumbai membership.
- A ban from future OLSC Mumbai events.
- Permanent expulsion from OLSC Mumbai.
Certain behaviour, including physical violence, serious harassment, discriminatory abuse, theft, deliberate property damage or credible threats to another person's safety, may warrant an immediate Red Card without a prior warning.
Where appropriate, venue management or relevant authorities may also be informed.
Disciplinary decisions will be taken by the OLSC Mumbai Committee, in consultation with venue management where relevant.

By attending an official OLSC Mumbai screening or event, members and guests agree to respect this Code of Conduct.
